There are a number of Embassies in the area such as the Thai Consulate in Hong Kong to the North as well as the British Consulate in Hong Kong to the East. The Indian Consulate in Hong Kong as you can see from the map is located near the coast line and very easy to find. If you are going to register a birth, you will need to obtain all the original documents. You will also need to do this within a certain time period or it will become very difficult to register the child.
If you lost your passport then you will need you provide a case number from the police with your application form. Also note the process for an emergency travel document.
